Hey everyone,

Issue 8 of Tackle Fantasy Football is finally here!

This has taken a lot longer than I expected. Between my actual job 😂 and everything we've been doing behind the scenes—from tweaking prompts, to blowing them up and rewriting them, to rebuilding how Tackle collects, validates and interprets its data—there have been plenty of nights when I simply couldn't work on it.

But we've made a huge jump in accuracy and confidence. If I had to put numbers on it, I'd say we went from roughly 70% confidence to closer to 98% today.

And we've found some pretty funny things getting here.

We're getting much better at connecting stats, snaps, injuries, player movement, depth charts and upcoming matchups instead of simply reporting individual pieces of data. We've also made major improvements to our prediction model. On the final pages of Issue 8, you'll see our Week 4 predictions along with the previous week's predictions compared with what actually happened. We're keeping the receipts—tracking our wins and misses every week and using those results to continue improving the model.

1. What NFL team do you root for?
I'm trying to find at least one person for every NFL team who really follows that team and can help sanity-check Tackle's analysis. The more people we have, the better. So please respond with the team(s) you support!

Please also send me the email addresses of friends or family members who are serious fans of teams we're missing. I'll get them registered. And if Tackle takes off, I want the people who helped us build and validate it from the beginning to be recognized.
